What is Hastelloy ‘B-2’ Round Bar?
Hastelloy ‘B-2’ Round Bar is made of Hastelloy material that is a Nickel-Molybdenum Alloy with outstanding resistance to decomposition in reducing surroundings. Higher Molybdenum content also improves the thermal properties of the alloy. Adequate amounts of Carbon, Chromium and Silicon increase mechanical strength and anti-corrosion properties.

Hastelloy ‘B-2’ Round Bar is admirably immune to atmospheric effects. It is formed with various surface finishes to protect from surface reduction. They are widely utilized in hydrochloric acid surroundings with different concentrations and warm acids. It also reduces the effect of acids, chlorides in surroundings where the large Nickel content of the Bar increases the stability in harsh solutions.

They are long-lasting and strong to sustain in extremely corrosive conditions. These are utilized in various forms like hex bar, rectangular, and round bars with bright or black finished surfaces. We offer bars with great welding properties avoiding weld heat-affected zones. Threaded Round Bars are used in some applications.
Applications:
These Round Bars are used in vacuum atmospheres, inert Applications, chemical processes where hydrochloric, sulfuric acetic, and phosphoric acid are involved. It is also used in thermal applications above ambient temperature.
