About grade:
Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium super alloy that has a slight content of good quality tungsten that helps in offering the excellent corrosion resistance property in severe atmosphere. The presence of nickel and molybdenum in the grade helps in imparting the excellent pitting resistance to acid and crevice corrosion resistance in reducing environment. Moreover, the presence of low carbon content in the grade helps in reducing the carbide precipitation when welding is done. The C276 grade is by far the most widely used grade in the market for manufacturing god quality of sheets and plates.
